Resume and grades get you past the first round, but your personality and conversations are going to be the most important thing! While chapters are wanting to recruit new members that will be involved and get good grades, they are most importantly looking for someone they can see themselves or their sisters being friends with. I won't lie, recruitment is going to be very overwhelming for someone who is shy. HOWEVER, it is worth the discomfort and is a great opportunity to grow and build confidence. I recommend doing some research on the recruitment process so you know exactly what to expect, this will help with your nerves and help you prepare for conversations. I am also on the shy side, but I have a different, more outgoing, mindset that I can get myself into for recruitment. I also use this for job interviews, sometimes it needs to be done to get what you want. Recruitment is great practice.
