In the past couple of years, sororities have been decreasing the importance they place on legacies. In my chapter, we used to have to keep legacies until a certain round of recruitment and have permission to drop them, this is no longer the case. This also means you are not guaranteed a bid to your legacy house, which is a good thing! It might not actually be the best fit. Unless you go into a chapter and start talking about how you’re a legacy to XYZ I don’t think this will be an issue.
