You clearly do not understand: "a girl who actually is willing to take a bid from both her houses on pref day, gets dropped from recruitment bc some girl who didn’t even want to be there was higher on the bid list than she was," no, no, no. Every pnm who ranks both her houses at pref is guaranteed a bid to one of them. There are no drops after pref. And pnms cannot opt out of going to any house where they are invited during any round, including pref. You go where your schedule says you go, period. The sororities do the choosing. So "don’t pref a house you would never realistically ever want to join," well you can't not go where you are invited. After pref, pnms can certainly SIP if they only positively want one house, but they are not guaranteed to get that house because a SIP does nothing to get you higher on their bid list. And there is no guarantee of getting a COB. Facts.
