A message to any PNMs considering this: single intention preference (suiciding) makes you ineligible to be a quota addition, and is the way you risk getting a sad phone call the morning of bid day. After preference round the chapters rank all pnms remaining, and a line is drawn at quota. The girls above that line get a bid if they also preferenced that chapter. If you are not above that line and you maximized your options (listed both chapters during preference) you can be added on to the bid list even if they are above quota. The system rewards those that maximize their options. If you “suicide” and you aren’t on the top of the bid list, you are not able to be added on as a quota addition. You really should only do it if there is no way you’ll accept a bid from the other chapter, you’d rather not be Greek than give them a chance. You need to decide if that is right choice for you, I just want you to be aware of what it means.
