They were at a disadvantage housing-wise when they were originally on campus. The first time, it was the late '60s, which was not a great period for Greek life. They could never afford to build new, so they made do with an old residential house and renting blocks of apartments. They closed in 1973. When they came back in the early '90s, they bought the old AGD house, which was originally built in an unattractive mid-'60s design. They renovated it, but it still looked dated afterward. The latest renovation after they came back in 2013 was a huge improvement.
