<strong>Subject:</strong><br />Fraternity Recruitment<br /><br /> Poster Message:
I'm an entering Freshman at Mizzou and have gotten involved in Fraternity Recruitment. So far it's been mostly fun and games, and I have meant some pretty nice guys. There's been some emphasis on academics and quite a bit on social aspects of fraternity life. I'm to the point of beginning to identify the fraternities that seem to be the best fit for me. But there's one thing I'm seriously curious about: a few fraternities have bragged about deep alumni connections and networking opportunities; but why haven't they given us recruits an opportunity to meet some alumni to articulate what these connections look like in reality? I think it would be valuable to interact with some alums and learn how their particular fraternity was important to them in college and beyond.
