There are sororities that primarily taken women they already know. These also are the houses that constantly COB and have trouble keeping members because they join for the wrong reasons. You wouldn't want to be part of those houses anyway. The top houses seek diversity, and that includes geographical diversity. You will know them when you are there during rush because you will talk with girls from outside of Missouri as well as in-state. You sound like a great candidate. Good luck to you.
