I say give it a try, even if you have just a 3.0. In any given year you never know what a house is looking for. They might have been told by national/alums to raise their grades for the past couple of years, but realized they recruited too many of one type of girl and they might be looking for a more fun-loving, not so serious type of girl in the next pledge class. So one year a 3.0 might not cut it and the next year it might. Here's the secret to rush: the best houses (Delta, ChiO, PiPhi) get to choose whatever girls they want because everyone going through rush wants to go back to those houses. That's somewhat true for some of the top-middle houses, too, like Theta or ADPi. The rest of the houses take the best of who is left over. That's why lots of pledge classes consist of girls who would have preferred being somewhere else. But, when all is said and done, they can find real happiness and a true sisterhood in whatever house they pledge. So it all works out in the end. It often is said on this website that the bottom tier houses at Mizzou are stronger than many top tier houses on other campuses. I think that's true. So, good luck.
