Here's a hint: nothing is highly acclaimed at Stephens except the bank balance of the dads who are putting their little darlings through school. Here's another hint, you don't go from getting a bachelor's degree at one school to getting an associates at another. And, frankly, I think FIT in New York would laugh at your Stephen's degree. At Mizzou we have a saying: a degree from Stephens is the best that money can buy. Heck, you don't even have to go to class but you can have that degree hanging on your wall anyway. The way to get some respect is to attend a COMPETITIVE college or university in your field and to really push yourself to get good grades. At Stephens you and the other fashion and equestrian majors might be preparing yourself for the country club life, and if that's what you want, fine. But I guess I would encourage you to have a little self-respect, challenge yourself and become self-sufficient and the best person you can be instead of going from living under daddy's thumb to living under your husband's.
