To PNMs. Here's the truth. Some houses are better than others. That's because they have high standards and are very selective about who they choose. They look closely at grades and involvement and judge accordingly. The result is that they are very stable houses where the women you pledge with can be your friends for four years, because they don't flunk out, and consequently for life. They also are stable financially and so the houses are beautiful and the dues are reasonable. But don't be discouraged. While some houses are better than others, you are in an excellent position this year. Recruitment numbers are down and you are more likely to be considered by the top houses. So believe in yourself, dig deep inside to find that confidence, put a smile on your face and let people know what makes you special. This is all new to everyone, so no one has an advantage. Be positive and good things will come your way.
