If the lasting friendships you made in college and where you made them are irrelevant, I'm sad for you. My mother, grandmother and older sister love returning to campus for football games and visiting their respective houses. I envision myself doing that, too. College is a launching pad. It is what prepares us for the next steps. But my sorority will always be part of that foundation. There is a reason it's called a sisterhood. Too bad you haven't had that experience. But, as they say, to have a friend you have to be a friend.
