As mentioned above you could literally go out every night of the week, assuming you had an ID to use. Monday’s are relatively casual usually just dinner and enjoying the bar special at a table with some friends and enjoying whatever sports are playing, relatively tame. Tuesday’s Step it up a notch, very cheap bar specials and a larger volume of people are out. Trivia nights are pretty popular. Wednesday’s are pretty similar to Tuesday’s. Thursday-Saturday are full out large going out days, usually are the most fun and the days you’ll be dressed the best. Sunday funday - you can not enough people participate just not a ton, because we are students and sundays are big for catching up on homework and studying and just recovering from the week. It’s pretty similar to Mondays, just add brunch to the mix. My advice you as a freshman is, do not got too caught up in the party scene. I’ve known too many people fail out because by the time they realized they were putting off school too much to have fun it was too late. The rigor of college course work is significantly more than high school, even the AP courses. You need to be able to handle your courses load and balance your studying before being liberal with going out. And from experience yes you can go out a lot and get good grades, but that requires a lot of effort. However, people like myself who do that typically don’t get much sleep, which isn’t great for you either, which is a personal goal of mine to work on. College is really fun but just remember what you are coming to accomplish, and take care of yourself.
