I agree. I joined as a sophomore and my bid day buddy turned big brought me into her friend group from her pledge class and from that i’m really in tune with the girls my age. However its also wise to make a few good friends from the pledge class you joined because if you live in house those girls will be who you’re living with! My friends who were freshman weren’t my main group but I love them. They’re readily available to come with me to a frat if I was in the mood, and they swipe you into the dining halls haha. I’m so excited to be rooming with them this coming year.
