I have mixed feelings on this. After reading her twitter thread it’s really sad to see how much being in a sorority took a toll on her mental health. However I D.o.n.t think it’s fair to say that she was racially profiled based on what she’s said, or that she was treated unfairly. If anyone in my chapter posted a photo of them next to a playboy bunny car for example, they’d be asked to take it down. If an underage girl posted a picture of them at the Heidelberg and they tagged them, they’d be asked to remove the location because the Heidelberg is a bar. To mean that’s not that big of a deal. I’m sure she’s a nice girl and there’s no doubt her mental health suffered especially because she’s still talking about it over a year after leaving. I feel bad about that. But her being smart and saying she had a 33 act and whatnot has nothing to do with what she was posting online. When you join a sorority, you know what you’re getting yourself into and that you can’t get away with posting photos at bars or with alcohol when you’re underage.
