Hmmm, George Bush's recession?? Really? do you pay attention at all? Not a huge Bush fan, but his administration was pushing for reform of GSE's from 2002 on. Look it up. The key words in your statement are "as promised." Medicare, health insurance for people will pre-existing conditions and Social Security cannot possibly survive as promised. You may be able to get away with pre-existing conditions, but Medicare and Social Security are demographically doomed mainly because the Federal government has never really cut spending and has used any surplus to fund other Social, Military, etc programs. We are literally borrowing to maintain programs. There is no real reviews of effectiveness, nothing. it's criminal.
