The "top tier" houses are all different and just because you like one of them doesn't mean you'd fit well in the rest. Often girls have one or two top tier houses and the rest middle tier because THAT'S WHERE THEY FEEL AT HOME which is what they're going for. I don't think anyone is stupid enough to just choose houses by tier at the end of the recruitment day.
