There is nothing more annoying to me than a sense of entitlement. You are ONE girl out of 1700+ girls who are going through recruitment. You are a P-O-T-E-N-T-I-A-L new member. Sorry to be harsh, but maybe you should look up the definition of potential, because I don't think you know the meaning. It is a privilege to be in a sorority. Being greek is not just about wearing letters on your chest to get a "status" on campus. IF you are given a bid, you are a part of something special, and you're expected to be living up to the ideals of scholarship, sisterhood, and philanthropy that the sorority was originally founded upon. Being in a sorority is about giving back to a community. About being there for your sisters through thick and thin. Competing against other houses and being creative. Sure, it's about having fun too -- but you don't have to be greek to get drunk in college, FYI. So if you just want to party and be in the "hot popular" sorority that you know so much about even though you aren't a part of it, don't even rush. Because we can spot that a mile away. We red flag you, write it down on your score card, and you get cut from the next party. How you've presented yourself on this website, I don't think there's any active that would be happy to call you a sister, in any house. So check your attitude and just know that if you get a bid, you are LUCKY, not entitled to it.
