I am NOT a troll. I am a senior "active" sorority member who has lived in an apartment the last 2 years with several women who joined an assortment of houses, and then dropped out/de-activated/took alumni status. The main reason they did this? The cost of membership/dues, which in many cases grew from when they initially pledged due to sorority house re-models/upgrades. And it is NOT unheard of for a student to be putting themselves through Mizzou and still wanting to experience sorority membership.
