You got exactly what you chose: to either be a member of just one house or to not be greek at all. That's the decision you made. This is an excellent time to remind people about an ultimatum, which, in effect, is the decision you made. You should never make an ultimatum unless you can be satisfied with either choice -- in your case, wither being a member of one specific house or not being greek at all. Those were the only two possible outcomes. In a relationship, an ultimatum might be forcing someone to chose to not smoke or not be with you, for example. It's a difficult lesson, but this also is a good time to stop blaming others for your own decision. Welcome to college, where growing up and using good judgment is perhaps the most important lesson you can ever learn.
