I've heard this too. However, they plan on doing HOCO this year so I doubt they will have the funds going to a new house as well. On the other hand, they were the big house in GW this year, they were partnered with FH who was the little house (shocker) not sure if that's bc FH is falling or theta chi just has that many members now.
