In both cases I was told I was guaranteed a bid both before recruitment and during. I've done the same to pnms as well, if you're a quality pnm then having friends in high places can easily guarantee you a bid to a top tier house. Sorry if that's not fair but that's how it works.... This post is talking about mid tier houses though so yea, in most cases they're probably pissed that they lost a bid to ADPi and got stuck in the bottom as a KD.
