Here's why I care about this site, and why I wish it would go back to normal. Before rush last year I had my heart set on a house that is considered top tier. I am a legacy, so I thought it would be easy to get into that house. My sister goes to a small school and at her school almost all legacies get into her house so I thought that was the norm. But then I heard here that this sorority at Mizzou doesn't give legacies special treatment and that you would only be chosen if you met all of their other requirements. So I went through rush giving every house a chance because I knew that it wasn't likely that I would make it into my legacy house. That was the best advice I ever could have received and I've read other really good tips here too. As it turns out on the last day I was invited back to my legacy house and two other great houses too. I actually preffed my legacy house second because I felt like another house was a better fit. So I credit this site with helping me to get into the best house for me. I just think others should have that chance too but the Alpha Phi who has taken over this site has ruined it for a lot of people. That's all. And, no, I'm not a Theta though they have every right to be angry.
