Check your facts. Applicants were not down. And compare ratio of number of applicants to number of acceptances. Mizzou is a very competitive school. SLU(local) has an outstanding program also, but Mizzou is much more competitive(SLU has an automatic admittance program, no application needed). With that said, there are not that many involved in greek life that actually get in, however many do apply. And in nearing the completion of the program I'm pretty sure four girls from one sorority did not get in. Regardless, don't knock the program unless your only data you are comparing it to is age old rankings of nursing schools.
