Yes, of course you should rush! As the above poster mentioned, there are many sophomores who participate in formal recruitment and find their forever home :) The best advice I can give you is to keep an open mind, find rec letters, try to connect w/ girls in houses before recruitment, be sociable/memorable, and finally keep up your grades!
