Sorry to bump up this old post (it's a funny read I recommend it) but I would LOVE to hear the private school girl's story now that she's gone through college. "I got all the connections I need in high school" lol what a joke! I'm from an affluent family with amazing connects and the best STL private school education but if I hadn't had the grades I did in b school I wouldn't have the internship I have today. The only jobs you get solely based on family connections are like jobs in the trades and low class businesses, someone didn't have her sights set too high. Figured I'd bump it since this loser is probably still lurking around haha
