It's all about standards and expectations and the best students would rather poke their eye out with an ice pick than join a house that doesn't have grade cuts. But let's put things in perspective and consider the source. The OP can't get enough attention and she says outrageous things just to be noticed. She is a sad little shut-in who has few friends and no life. As an Alpha Phi, she is desperate to be taken seriously. Ignore her and eventually she will go away.
