I personally did not live in my sorority house and I do not regret it one bit. For me it was more financial but I seriously don't regret it. It was something that I thought I would want to do and that I would miss out on a bunch of stuff if I didn't, and I don't! I'm still close to my pledge class and I have my own room and bathroom (which is a big bonus). I don't personally think that "it's what sorority is all about" because some colleges don't have houses/dorms. But like I said before it was more beneficial for me not to live in house, and I honestly thought I wouldn't get close to my sisters, but that is not the case because in between classes I go to the house and hang out. It is what you make of it.
