That is not true at all. There are a ton of girls that go through recruitment and end up dropping and then cob and get a house that dropped them at some point. There are very few girls who skip formal and just go to informal recruitment. And aphi has a lot of out of state girls from the north (or maybe south?) suburbs of chicaga that went to the same high school so if you know any of them you might want to check that as an option(unless you want to avoid the cliqueness, wasn't clear on your post)
