I wouldn't have my parents come to bid day. And for sure don't plan to meet with them until late in the day. By all means call them when you find out, but there is nothing more annoying than the small handful of parents hanging around trying to make this about them. You're in college and this is all about moving forward, making new friends, starting your new life and becoming independent. Parents need to understand that and just let go.
