Just wanted to leave you all with a good message before you start your college journey tomorrow. All of the sororities can't wait for you to move in, start recruitment and become our sisters in a short week. College will be filled a lot of highs and lows, and recruitment will prove that. Above all else go with good faith, confidence and your genuine personalities. I want to chalked you all before you fall asleep tonight to think about what make Mizzou your home away from home and take that reflection with you during recruitment. Make all of your decisions for yourself. Things you'll hear are subjective and often time biased. The only person's opinion who matters in recruitment is yours. So of you feel a connection and if you like it, go for it. If you see the friends you made in your Pi Chi group talk down on a place you loved, ignore it. Give your best at every chapter no matter what. Aside from recruitment you came to Mizzou for school obviously. Study up ladies, (idc if your GPA was 4.2 in high school and you never studied) school isn't easy. Be friendly and open! Tomorrow you will see many new faces and it is 100% fine to introduce yourself and start making friends. Call your parents often and keep them in the loop, it'll help keep them in the loop and missing them easier. Be open minded, you're about to be thrown into an environment where people were raised with different, values and beliefs and that's perfectly okay, you just have to learn to live harmoniously.
