I am a twin and my sister is much more extroverted than I am. We both are members of sororities (different ones) and it has happened that when people were not aware that we are twins they have said to her that she is so much nicer than they remember. The thing is, they probably had been talking to me and that's how I became aware that being a quiet introvert is sometimes mistaken for being aloof or rude. I'm not saying this applies to every introvert, but just be aware of how you can come across. I had a great rush and wound up with amazing choices, but I also made an extra effort to make eye contact, keep the conversation flowing and, most important, smile and be positive.
