I am from out of state (no, not Chicago) and I thought going through rush was a breeze. No drama, mainly because I didn't know anyone. Not one person, either going through rush or already in a house. So I was judged me exclusively on my own merits, not someone else's opinion of me from high school. I got all of my top choices and had three great houses on the last day. I could have been happy in any of them. In my opinion, out of state girls have an advantage, actually.
