There are scholarships you can apply for once you are in a sorority. PHA and my sorority (I am sure all do something like this) have scholarships that a member can apply for! I don't know if that would help convince her, but it is always an option. Also, while going through recruitment, I would pay close attention to how much a house costs. Another option is for you to get a part time job, if the time allows it, and pay half of it, or most of it.
