I pay out of state tuition to attend Mizzou because I love it here. The campus is gorgeous, the people are nice, and I have a lot of opportunities to be involved and successful. I didn't want to stay in my home state and out of state tuition is expensive everywhere but Mizzou gave me a pretty good scholarship. My siblings all went out of state too and had to pay even higher tuition. From what I've read online my tuition will only go up about 600 dollars which really isn't a huge deal for me.
