There are many, many reasons out-of-staters would want to attend Mizzou. And the slight increase in out-of-state tuition certainly isn't enough to discourage most of them. Plus, Missouri is extremely lenient about allowing students to establish residency so by junior and senior year many out-of-state students have qualified for in-state tuition. So, nice try. But the houses with retention issues usually have other issues as well that have absolutely nothing to do with a tuition increase. By the way, if money were really a factor, out-of state students would have stayed in their own state to go to school rioght from the beginning.
