When you go into a house right off the bat they're going to ask you all the essential questions "Where are you from?" "What is your major" and all of that stuff, just to see if there is anything to break off into a completely new conversation that brings out your personality more, and see if you have a connection! The questions you ask all depend on you! I always asked "Why did you join this sorority?" and "What is your favorite thing about being in a sorority?"! Mine were all generic that are probably asked all the time! Find questions that show your personality the most! It shouldn't be like a job interview and the questions shouldn't be hard! It should be just a flow of conversation without trying to force anything! Some houses might ask certain questions such as (this was a question one house asked me) "Would you rather spend a night in studying with your sisters, or going out and having a little fun with your sisters?" And I answered somewhere along the lines of "If I have a test coming up I will definitely be studying! I am here for college, so going out and having a fun time will be pushed aside" or something like that. Pref day you'll go to a max of three houses, then you will go rank the houses. You will then have a meeting (just like every other night) with your Pi Chis and they will explain everything that will happen the next day, which is bid day! Pref day is just like any other day! Same routine, but you look a little fancier than the days before!
