@incoming If drinking on bid day is the only thing you can think of you need to really start asking yourself why you want to be part of a sorority. If it is just to party and get drunk then you are rushing for all the wrong reasons. The people on this thread are not being overdramatic. We are protecting our sorority from PNM like you, and the damage you could do to the house. It does not matter if you can handle your alcohol, what matters is that if you get caught, you're entire chapter is at risk of losing something. It is not just about what you want, and I guess you're going to have a hard time figuring that out in a sorority, IF you even get a bid. I am sure you can wait one night (and if you can't you should profanely go see someone about it) without alcohol in your system. Bid day is on a Sunday. Syllabus week is literally right around the corner. Also remember that on bid day you will be wearing your letters (once again that is if you get a bid), and it is a giant NO to drinking while wearing your letters.
