It seems you are the only one saying nasty things. And your 'statistics' are way off. And what do you consider your top house? I think you were assuming certain things. And clearly it's pretty traumatic for you to be in a house where there are so many connections because you are having such a hard time cutting people. Please, get over it. There is one house here who's biggest draw is their philanthropy-that's it. It's not about the sisterhood, way too many previous connections for any true bonding(basically you reinforced that with your statement). As was stated, take all legacies out of the picture and those one dimensional houses that SOME consider top are just average with the number of girls wanting to return. And next time check your facts. KKG is the oldest house here and they don 't have a problem filling a pledge class. Nor do 80% of our sororities. Get off your pedestal regarding what you think is one of the top houses here. Picking a majority of girls that you know, and also cutting some, is not selective, at all. There are about 7 top tier houses here based upon being selective. I've yet to ever read a post by someone saying they are still so devastated they didn't get in to a certain house(yes, even YOUR house). For the girls that drop because they don't get the house they wanted-they weren't looking for a sisterhood or to be part of a system-they are just coming across as narrow minded individuals not looking to expand their circle.
