This actually makes total sense. And would explain why there are so many people argue about those 'top' 3 people always mention. From most every post talking about legacies, etc there are always some that say they could fill an entire pledge class, class and a half etc. So basically if you pulled out those 150 girls, and compare them to houses that have 5 legacies, totally makes sense why they are considered more 'selective'. They really aren't, just because girls put them down and even up to pref night doesn't mean they end up there. Very interesting perspective there. Just goes to show to do what you want, not what you feel you should do because you are a legacy. Totally makes sense with grades also-of course they'll cut the lowest of the grades with legacies to keep their house average up.
