You should know better. Anytime anyone talks about APhi's awful grades and retention issues they change the subject and go on the offensive and call you names. It's pretty likely that they will go on a tirade about how you are a Zeta or an ADPi or that you don't go to school here. So since they won't give you a straight answer, I will. This is what is going on with Alpha Phi. They don't have grade cuts and take the girls that no one else will. There is only one criterion and that is that the girls they take have to be prettier than the average Sigma or PhiMu. Then once the girls pledge they get no support in the house to help them with their study skills, so their freshman are out there floundering around without any guidance. They already aren't very bright and their grades only get worse. So they drop out, flunk out or their parents realize their daughters are in a toxic environment and make them quit the house or come home. So they lose probably more girls than any other house and they have to keep COBing. The problem is that they take the same type of girl so the problem perpetuates itself and it becomes a huge sisterhood issue. Then they come on here and make fun of the Thetas and Adpi's of the world for whom grades are a priority. Or they overcompensate, get belligerant and try to convince us their house is better than it is. It's just sad that their national hasn't stepped in to solve the problem. They are in a downward spiral and, sadly, seem proud of it.
