Yes this is true, we have rules in our houses about posting pictures with alcohol or red cups and we don't want a girl that is already breaking these rules as a high schooler. Also, it doesn't look great if you have a bunch of swimsuit mirror selfies or generally tasteless posts. If you get in a lot of Twitter fights that doesn't look good either. This is for the best though, future employers are going to be looking at your social media and its good to get in the habit of making it presentable.
