So you were really only focused on being top tier. That's fine. You don't have to want to join a house to be impressed with them. Personally I was shocked how much I liked some of the less "popular" houses on campus, particularly KD and Phi Mu. I had other choices I preferred and ended up going with my legacy house. But I was really impressed with a lot of houses I didn't think I'd like because of things that were said about them. Honestly the only houses I was truly unimpressed with were Theta and Sigma. Theta had a conflated reputation that I didn't feel they matched in person and Sigma was just a sad experience. I couldn't hear anyone talking, we were all packed into a room like sardines, the girls all seemed nervous. Other than those two houses I had some level of being impressed by all of the houses when I rushed.
