A 4.5 is possible at most schools that have weighted honors/AP grades. That's when an A is worth 5 points. But since honors/AP classes aren't offered in many areas, it's impossible to get a 5.0. Also, I am from out of state, knew no one and also had a great rush. My final choices were PiPhi, XO and Theta and while I love my house, I could have been happy in any of them. I actually think that NOT knowing anyone in any house worked to my advantage. No one had any preconceived ideas about me. Whoever said you had to know people in the house couldn't be more out of touch.
