Being a Theta has been the best four years of my life. I have met the best friends I have ever had--my sisters and my future bridesmaids. Am I obsessed with every girl in my sorority? No. Some of them are annoying and we don't all have everything in common. But welcome to being in a sorority with 400+ girls in it. If you're expecting sorority life to be all rainbows and butterflies, you're sadly mistaken. There are times when the rules annoy me and I don't want to go to chapter or other required things, but I do them anyways because I love my sorority and the woman it has helped me to become. I would not trade these four years for anything. It saddens me to think that not everyone has had this great experience that I have had, but sorority life isn't for everyone. Unless you're willing to put in the work to develop real, genuine friendships, you won't find them. It's just like the real world.
