Thanks for the clarification! I definitely know it's not a guaranteed thing and an active advised me to wait if I couldn't afford the first year fees and maybe try COB after saving up and if that doesn't feel right simply rush formally next fall as an upperclassmen. And to clarify to the first comment "girls like me" don't rush to get an easy bid and besides I'm sure no house just gives out bids like candy! I did all the work to rush including getting recs, teas, etc. my family just hit a financial snag and can't pay for sorority fees on top of everything else so this process is helpful to girls in similar situations.. Sorry if that's a problem for you but definitely no need to be rude about it
