I second the comment that you shouldn't be that concerned about a house's grades unless there is another red flag. For example our house with the lowest grades also has the reputation as constant partiers and a house that picks girls for their looks not their personalities. For most houses it just means that when they recruited girls they were not able to get the ones who had the best grades. It doesn't mean the individual girls in the house don't study.
