I'm going to be honest here and tell you not to worry too much about your hair. There are going to be days during recruitment when you hair will look bad--that's the truth. Even us girls from Alabama aren't immune to the humidity. It will rain and it'll be over 100 degrees most every day. If you are constantly worrying about your hair, you won't be able to enjoy yourself because you'll be too concerned about what you look like and if we're judging you for it. We really do understand what the weather is like out there because we've been there before so we don't expect you to look like a supermodel when you walk in the door! However, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to present yourself well. I would try some type of anti-frizz product, maybe even an anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner, too. And hairspray! My personal favorite is the Loreal Paris Elnet hairspray--it's like $12 at Target and it works really well without making your hair look like a helmet. Good flat irons and hair dryers work wonders, too. I would personally stay away from curling your hair (unless you're really good at it and it won't fall in the humidity) because it more than likely won't be curly at the end of the day--especially on Ice Water Tea days and Philanthropy Days where you'll be outside the longest. On pref, you'll probably be okay to curl your hair since you only have 3 parties at the most, but just keep in mind the amount of time you'll be outside.
