So you rank your houses after pref and then go back to your dorm for the night. If you did not maximize your options (if you did not list all the houses that you went to for pref), and you happened to get dropped from recruitment entirely, you will get a call telling you. But if you did maximize your options after pref, then you are guaranteed a bid to one of those houses! YAY! So now all that's left to do is wait! So you wake up the next morning and get ready and go to the stadium. You'll be handed a manilla envelope that has your bid card inside. The bid card will say the name of the sorority that you matched with, and that you are now a member of! All the PNMs open their envelopes and see what house they got. Then you run to your new house with your new sisters and attend the fun bid day activities! When you open your envelope and see the name of the sorority you got, it is official. You can't get another house unless you do not accept your bid and you rush next year (which I do not recommend). But once you sign your bid card that is your new home!
