If you know girls in the chapter now, ask them who wrote their recs. And then go to those ladies...but if they don't know you or your family, don't expect them to write you a rec out of the blue. Bottom line - start asking NOW to find sorority alumnae. You need women who know you or your parents. They're out there. I'm always amazed by young women from big cities who swear they can't find anybody in my sorority. And I mark them down as lazy. They get released from our house.
