For the vast majority of people, after they graduate their fraternity/sorority choice DOES NOT MATTER. Think about it - if you were hiring, and wanted to pick someone who reflected well on you and helped your career, would you pick the best candidate or an ok candidate from your old chapter? I think you know the answer. Don't buy that "it will open up doors" BS because that does not happen much. Choose the people you like and want to spend your 4 years in college with - that is most important. All that said, it does happen sometimes, but you should not count on it. Make your own career, don't rely on someone else to do it for you. If you do get help, hey, good for you, that is a bonus.
